Most of the static is just that, static. But at 2:26 a distinctly different scene seems to appear for a split second.
Things I noticed at 2:26
1. It might be a ship
2. A childs face in the top right corner.
3. A distinct white/black divide on the screen.
You notice his(Pierre's) outfit has a white collar on one side and the other side looks red or some other dark color.
I think he said "You have to talk to Doctor Abbot!" at one point.
I also heard the name "Gradinsky"
Maybe LOST is just driving me insane...
The second voice in the video sounds a lot like Farraday .....
0:05 , There seems to be another person on screen, wearing orange.
Hmmmm, a crying baby. About thirty years ago. Is it Dr. Candle's own son? Seems probable. Could it be Miles? If so, and if the voice is Farraday, that means at least 3 of the four "freighter folk" recruited by Abbadon have been to the island before...
My money is on that the kid is Charlotte. He said the transmission was being sent roughly 30 years into the future. We know Charlotte was born in 1979, and that Daniel has an interest in her, so its no surprise to hear him in his role of "camera man." I like the Miles idea too, though.
...and for the record, it's my wife that figured this out, not me. We'll see. :)

Such a cool video. Excitement levels are through the roof!! Notice how he looked longingly at his arm while discussing the Purge? I'll wager that he loses his arm in the conflict, though that would make his timeline even more mysterious...

I agree drewcipher. If he loses his arm during the purge, how is he still around later to make more orientation films? Very strange.
The cameraman is DEFINITELY Faraday, as far as I'm concerned.
One thing, the video seems to be composed strangely. It starts off with part of the Candle video, and then goes to the start, as shown in Tapdawg's version, and continues to show the video in full.
If this was recorded in the 70's (because he ways Bush is president 30 years from now)it means that the Incident hasn't happened yet. He made The Pearl Orientation film in 1980 and the Swan Orientation film in 1980 so the arm is probably lost in the incident because he has it in the Pearl Orientation and not in the Swan Orientation. Maybe he mistakes the incident for the purge?
Um this video is edited wrong... dr. chang did not appear before hand... It should start about 44 seconds in as the start and the change part goes on the end. Why did you edit it this way?
By the way, the 2:26 pic:
-There seems to be a star symbol (pentagram) on the upper side of the screenshot, a little to the left. That's a paganistic symbol, and appears to be made of wood/located in a forest. But not like the jungle...
Why are none of them working? Every You tube vid I've tried to watch stalls out and won't play even after they have loaded...and no sound.

I think he says "you have to talk about the rabbit" as in the time traveling bunny.
I did not hear a baby crying. It sounded more like a cat to me. Chang said to put IT outside not him or her (if it was a baby.)

When talking about the baby at 2:08 . He DEFINATELY says "Just take HIM outside, please" if the baby is a him then its not charlotte and i think it could be miles.

For the record, it has been confirmed that he the womans days he references his Lara, not Jennifer.
